I was born to be a mother. God reminded me of this yesterday. I was offered a lil job recently, and after making arrangements for my children, I started work yesterday evening. The job wasnt what Id been led to believe, and I spent almost 3 times the time there that Id planned for. Matter of fact, I had to leave before the job was done. I left feeling defeated. All my children had made it home from their various weekend adventures, tired and ready to rest in mamas arms. Rocky was home with them, pondering on what to feed them and himself for dinner. He was trying to figure out how he was gonna get 3 kids, himself and me in the truck when I called to come get me. Bread and sandwich meat were still at the grocery store waiting for me to pick up for Rocks lunch. Pajamas, and bedtime were soon to come. Id left work to tend to these things at home, and was then to return and finish my job. While at home I realized, this is my job! I dont want Rocky worrying about those things, thats my job. I want to greet my children as they come home from EVERY adventure. I wanna be the first to hear about it. I wanna wrap my arms around their tiny growing bodies and squeeze my love right into their hearts. The thought of working outside my home was nice, the money a little tempting... but I already have a full time job, and the pay is priceless!!!! I was born to be a mother, and I absolutely love it!!!!
