I was depressed and saddened by the new stroke I suffered last week. I was just getting some kind of ground back under my feet when this new stroke hit me on my left side this time. I was already blinded on the left field of vision making it so I could not see on the left side of my vision and now this one has compromised and narrowed the right side of my vision. I had worked so hard to gain part of my left side back again and now it is worse then ever. I was having a pitty party for myself the other night and when I spoke with my wonderful son James Sims, as always was not only brought back out of my depression but as he is great at doing had me laughing and gave me things to focus on and reminded me that I was a survivor and fighter and that I would find a way to recover from this as well. Then out of nowhere I got an invitation from Wendy Perl to a Disco party and it made me remember how much I love this women and as my best friend she somehow without even knowing it always there for me. I feel blessed to have such a great support system in place when I really need it.
