I was discussing this with Manny Schoemaker this morning... So Opinion time: What do you think when people film junkies, and put them on the internet? No doubt, it can be funny...but then, for me, its like, wow this is really SAD! Thats someones mother/father, brother/sister, daughter/son... And no doubt they must be incredible pain to go the route of heroin, or crack. I mean thats not just something you wake up and say, Wow I really feeling trying something new...heroin. So although we know that junkies defy gravity. I think we need to stop filming them and spend more time trying to figure out how to get these people, to help themselves. Then again I guess it DOES create and awareness of a cautionary tale to the young people as to what NOT to do... So what are YOUR thoughts?
