I was driving down the road and up ahead on the left I could see an old abandoned run down home. I had to stop at the stop sign and no one was coming so I just sat there for a minute or two and just kinda took it all in. I knew the people that once lived there and now the house is falling apart, the roof caving in, the winders busted out...grown up with weeds, just old and dead looking. What caught my eye was among all that mess and disaster there was a beautiful red flower that found that to be a home. Right in the middle of it all. It took root and it started to grow. With a little bit of dirt, little bit of rain and a little bit of sunshine its grown into a beautiful flower. Many people probably havent noticed that flower while passing by, but today it was like it had hands and stuck them out and waved at me. Pretty much I felt like God was saying even in the dark, in the storms and in the ugly look for the good in the world because it is there. THERE IS GOOD IN THE WOLRD !!! Its all in how you look at life...is your glass half full or half empty? Do you complain about all the things you dont have and forget about all that you do have? Do you look in a field full of dandelions and see weeds or wishes ? Life is short and life is precious. Take what youve been blessed with and work with it...remember there is beauty in the world. I try to always see the good in people and the good in things around me. None of us are perfect, but there is something perfect about all of us! Just like that flower...with God, faith, love, family, friends and laughter...we are all gonna be ok.
