Luke 23:7 cuts me to my heart. Pilate sends Jesus to Herod because he discovered that Jesus is under Herods jurisdiction since He was a Galilean. I received the impression of Pilate that he never wanted anything to do with Jesus from the start. He did not want Him in his region so he sent Him to Herod. Are we wanting Jesus in our nation? Do we want His Presence in our jobs and relationships? Or will we send Jesus away because we are not on the same page with Him? We choose You, Jesus Christ. We need You in our nation, jobs, and relationships! We depend on You, Lord! Pour out Your Holy Spirit on us so we can live with devout and enduring love for You! amen!
