I was featured on the homepage of WIRED earlier this week. I was embarrassed to post about it because the headline is tacky and well, a bit obnoxious. But after a few days of wringing my hands, I say, screw it. Im having a good year, I started a successful business, and Im happy and proud and Id like to share good news with my friends. So, anyway, please dont be offended by the money talk. Yes, its in poor taste, but its not every day I get a feature story on WIRED and Im excited that it happened. And the article is well written (beyond the headline), if I do say so. I hope this kind of publicity will lead to opportunities to talk in a formal setting (conferences, conventions, etc.) about how we artists can take advantage of the digital economy.
