I was following a post of Pete Templetons and this is a reaction to some of the comments. This is the closest Ive ever lived to Paris. I was looking for a more efficient home closer to my grandkids. As the crow flies Im about 3 miles west of town on 900th road. Im really enjoying living closer to Paris. I am in town a lot and I dont see the bad stuff like some people have spoken of. There are a lot of good restaurants in town, and I eat out somewhere about everyday. There is an ambulance in town. Its the closest Ive been to an ambulance. A new school is being built. My grandkids will attend school there. I cant wait. Most of my kids are teachers or coaches in the Paris school system. Im enjoying that. The murals on the square are awesome. People fixing up their storefronts is very encouraging. I know all too well about the people hurting financially in Paris. Its all over. Were not unique. As a matter of fact I think Paris has a lot going for it. We just need to get behind our leaders and encourage them to do their jobs and do things to continue to build our community. Id love to be a part of a community where everyone works together to make things better. Its the attitude. Think of our kids. If we put the kids first well always do the right thing.
