I was getting busy separating the mail (bills, all others), when I thought I should take time to thank some institutions and personnel before I forget their contributions. I than Minot Trinity and Dr. Swenson for discovering the cancer and making it possible for me to recover from my initial pain and suffering. Thank you to Mayo Clinic, Dr. Nagorney and his staff, and the nursing staff on the 5th floor. Everyone there was very helpful to not only me, but for Mem. When I made my second trip there, many of the nurses remembered me from the first time and came to my room to visit. That really made the days better. To Walgreens for working with Mem in ensuring I got the medical supplies and medicines I needed when we returned home. Thank you Christa for your trips to our home to assist in taking care of me. Thanks to the nurses in Sidney ER who got to know us pretty good; your professionalism is tops! Thank you to my oncologists at Sidney, Drs. Bergin and Nieva, for their continuing medical expertise in helping me defeat this cancer and get healthy. Judy and Rhonda at the Cancer Center I helping my visit as enjoyable as possible. One group I really need to thank is the administration for Sidney Health Center. Without their diligence in tending to all my visits and medical assistance, I would never know exactly how much I owe. I do sleep better knowing they keep a monthly tally of the services I receive. At the current rate, I may be thanking them for Q-U-I-T-E some time. There are so many more to thank, and I will over time. When I do reach my low points, I can look at all the responses and can stand up and tell the cancer that if it wants some, come get some. My support is bigger than that disease is. Keep positive, and enjoy the day!
