I was given 8....again....so here I go again.... 1. I met Don when both of us were student librarians in the music library at West Texas State University, where we were music majors. 2. I only majored in music, because my band director and the college band director talked me into auditioning for a scholarship and I got one. 3. I was in third place in the Texas All State try outs, but they only took two players...on bass clarinet. 4. I got to play at TMEA when I was in the college symphonic band 5. I was fired from the music library, after two years working there, because I thought it was more important to go to my devotional with the Bible chair than open the library on time..and I admitted that was the reason. I told my boss that God comes first. :-/ 6. That was the only time I ever got fired from a job....and I cried, but it did no good. 7. I learned a valuable lesson when my boss, who was a professor, told me The dean of music goes to your church, and he is very dedicated to his job. 8. I was the only student employee entrusted with opening the library. I was ashamed, and it was a good thing.
