I was given #8, so thank you Chelsea Cohen, here are 8 fun (?) facts about me: 1. I drove a Yellow Cab in college. 2. I own 9 different guitars, and cannot play 9 songs anyone would want to hear on any of them. 3. I met my personal guitar hero, Roy Buchanan, in the restroom at a concert he gave in Louisville. We both stepped towards the same urinal at the same time. He said, Go ahead, the show doesnt start till I get through! 4. I also met Rick Nielsen, of Cheap Trick, waiting in line for a rental car in OHare. The autograph he gave me was with a pen that was out of ink, so I had this vague carving of an autograph I used to show to all my friends. 5. I played high school football as a 160 lb. offensive guard. I played one game blocking an all state defensive tackle who outweighed me by 90 lbs. He got zero sacks that game, but he did, literally, attempt to throw me at the quarterback on one play! 6. I once walked home, 6 miles, because I only had 9 cents, and the guys at the filling station my car was towed to were such jerks I would not ask them for a nickel so I could make a phone call. 7. I am proud that I have been referred to as MacGyver on more than one fishing trip, for my makeshift boat repairs. 8. I have seen code that I authored still on the job, running with zero functional alterations, 15+ years after it was installed. Take that, Bill Gates!
