I was given a chance to do a demo in GenSan recently and went a couple of days ahead just to savor the food scene. The abundance of farm fresh vegetables, fresh livestock, and poultry, plus a strong fishing trade gives the General Santos city dwellers very natural methods of cooking and eating, which veers away from processed food products.
