I was hanging out with a few girls from Bible club today and this is how one of the recently saved girls opened her prayer: Buenas noches, Dios! (good evening, God!) It was around noon so after a fit of giggles, she says: Hola, Dios! Muchas gracias...(Hi, God! Thank you for...) This was no memorized prayer! It came straight from her heart. I remember this same girl would leave Bible club whenever the Bible lesson started. She did not want to even talk about Jesus. A few weeks ago, she gave her life to Christ and today she asked to lead us in prayer. Feeling very thankful that God doesnt give up on us. Ive wanted to give up plenty of times with these girls especially as Im trying to get home and they are jumping on me, yelling out every bad thing they can think of, pulling on me, trying to follow me home...the list goes on. Dont worry...during her prayer...she actually asked God and me to forgive them for embarrassing me in public! Im very thankful God is working in the lives of these little girls!
