I was honored spend an interesting and enlightening afternoon with Bishop Frank J. Caggiano, he invited a group legislators for an informal chat. We discussed a wide variety of issues, including how the Catholic church can better interact with all faith communities and the legislature. I was very impressed with Bishop Caggiano, he is dedicated to doing his part to improve the lives of all that can be touched, with special emphasis on young people. Its not often that at the end of a meeting you ask and receive a blessing from a bishop. Rep Brenda Kupchick and I thought we could really use one. It was a special moment.
