I was in Bristol last week in transit. Decided to visit Hartcliffe and the street I lived in - Maynard Close. A lot has changed as I drove from Whitchurch. Lots of houses and industrial units. The pleasant aspect were all the trees. The old Wills Factory gone. I recall it being built as it removed the small lane we used as a short cut to Knowle. There was a bridge at bottom of Maynard Road - Stoney Bridge. I enjoyed the hour or so there.
