I was in Lekhapani on 8th and 9th June. Normally I stay at the Wayside Amenities Centre in the Dehing Patkai Festival Site, whenever I go there. The Festival Site is now seems to be almost an abandoned site. The ethnic huts constructed for the festival are are now in pathetic condition. For reasons not known the festival was not held for last two years. The Sukapha Ranga Manch is also in a very bad shape. Who will revive these set ups?!!
