I was in a Linguistics class at the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and our textbook taught us that language is genetic. To be English, or American, one has to be able to read and speak and write the English language. If you are Hawaiian and you cannot speak English, than you are not English or American. English, Spanish, French, and German are all from Latin, so if you can speak any one of those Languages, then you are all of the above. If you cannot speak any one of those languages, than you are none of the above. My cousin took Latin and she knows Latin, so she is Old, Roman, English, American, Spanish, French, and German. I am literate - I was an English major teaching composition (which require understanding English grammar), I took classes in rhetoric, research, literature, British Literature and American literature, and I am genetically also. Hawaiians are not English, Did you know that black people in America are American, but Africans in Africa are British? hehe maybe you didnt know that - and that America was the ones who made the blacks slaves (the south still worships the ideals of that) and Nelson Mandela lifted Apartheid when Africa was British? Therefore, blacks are free because of the British! And Blacks were enslaved by white people but because the Jews were the chosen people from the Bible who were enslaved by the Romans, the Jews celebrate Blacks because they were slaves! I dont know if you understand ---- Hawaiians are not global - they cannot speak any language decent - language is genetic.... some aspects can be learned, but its mostly genetic - that is according to Linguistics department and is factual according to the experts who research these issues. I hope you know that local means crazy in Spanish. The people living in Hawaii are local they are crazy and they are spanish.... the Spanish are Asian because Indians are Asian and they intermarried with the White people mexicans are Asian because they are part indian and Indians are all Asian. But because Mexicans and Hispanics in the United States are considered white Asians are white but Blacks are not white because according to the Americans if you have one drop of black blood youre black. But according to the Americans, if you have brown hair (& mexicans whoa are Indian have brown hair) if you have brown hair youre white. So Asians are White, but Blacks are not white... some rap music etc. is all the fav in all circles not just black but included with white and Asians - but that is a culture that is a youth culture and is not black culture.... black culture comes from slavery etc. while mexican culture comes from agriculture - Asian culture comes from commerce.... but now South America is allowed commerce because Mexicans are Asian and Africa is not white - Chealsea Clinton has a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University --- =) *smile* which is very funny indeedy.... but lets say Black people are cool because of Barack Obama - Barack Obamas step father is Asian - hes Indonesian and india and Indonesia are Asian and so are Mexico and South American is Asian.
