I was in high school when Saturday Night Fever came out. My Italian buddies along with my brother and I went out every weekend to at least 5 bars in one night just to have fun. If the bar was happening i would dance for hours... Ha..Ha.. and we wore those type of clothes.. too.. it was hot in those days.. I grew up in Melrose Park, ILLINOIS ( 90 % Italians and some Greeks, me..) Even the town of Melrose Park came out with T-Shirts that said ... Melrose Park.. USA. Ha..Ha.. I loved it... The drinking age at that time was 18 and then turned to 21 but we were under the grandfather clause so we got lucky. In those days we did not worry about crazy people in bars. Today is a different story.
