I was in wicks today getting some stuff for work when the announcement on the tannoy stated it was 11am and the shop would honour the 2 minutes silence in memory of those who died in the wars. You could have heard a pin drop as everyone shop staff and customers stood with their own thoughts except a guy behind me, I turned around to see a man with his tape measure measuring bits of wood then letting the tape loudly retract, he saw me looking but continued on, it was neither the time or the place to say something, but Im sure the gentleman is very appreciative of all the men and women who lost there lives that allowed him to move from his backward country to live in our free land. How much I wanted to shout at him to stop what he was doing and be respectful.
