I was inspired by a previous post showing a churchs stained glass windows that I had to snap a pic of my churchs unique window. Yep, thats Snoopy! The story is that when our church was being built the rector had befriended a young boy who was dying of cancer. This boy always had a stuffed Snoopy doll with him and told the priest to include Snoopy somewhere in the sanctuary. And so we have him. If youre ever in Los Angeles, come visit St Marys on Mariposa in Koreatown. We are one of the few historically Japanese American Episcopal churches!
