I was just checking on the Link Family reunion site from WV and seen the renovated church (the original Link Church) Uvilla, WV The extensive renovation project on the St. James Lutheran Church parish hall in Uvilla, WV was completed last fall and the Link Family will return to our traditional home this year for our 61st annual reunion on Sunday, August 25th. We gather at 1:00 for the pot luck lunch followed by a short business meeting and lots of fellowship! The Descendants of John Jacob Link gather on the fourth Sunday of August each year usually at St. James Lutheran Church in Uvilla. Last year we met at Elk Branch Presbyterian Church in Duffields since the parish hall at St. James was closed. This year we will enjoy the use of the lovely St. James parish hall complete with a brand new kitchen and larger seating area. Bring a favorite dish to share and be prepared to celebrate the Link Family heritage. We treasure this time to connect with loved ones scattered across the country.
