I was just informed by my five-year-old that hes not happy here and he wants to live somewhere else. After his rant, I explained how lucky he is to live here and have all of the blessings he does, blah, blah, blah. I sounded like my mother. And Im sure at some point in my childhood, I sounded like Braden. And if my mom s heart hurt half as bad as mine did today, I owe her an apology. And someday, Braden too will understand. Being a parent is truly the hardest job.
