I was just thinking after Ibrahim Ali got scot-free for threatening to burn Bibles....For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Hence, islamophobia that others are sometimes accused of is simply explained as a reaction to an irrational behavior of certain Muslims that evoke islamophobia in others. It is a natural phenomena, as scientifically proven by Newtons third law. However, psychologically speaking, islamophobia is a fear of Islam that is based on a world view of Islam as expressed by Islamic fundamentalism that push for an Islamic State or Caliphate and its Sharia laws, which in turn is in conflict with the secularism and democracy. This fear is as real as the atrocities that some Muslims exhibit in the most gruesome way in wars that are currently ongoing in the name of an Islamic Caliphate So its simply cause and effect- islamophobia being the effect.
