I was just walking to my car and ran into a woman sobbing on the sidewalk with two children. Standing nearby. I walked right up to her and just hugged her. I asked her what was wrong and she said, your just a stranger, Im sorry but your just a stranger I said its ok Im sorry your so upset. Whats wrong? She said if you have the time Ill tell you. I said yea of course. She was some type of Latin mixed w Asian and we had a definite language barrier. But her son was standing there looking angry and she said she forgot his birthday. And continues on with a story about how she didnt want him and he knows it and she is pregnant with her 5th child, and her new fiancé doesnt get along with her son. And that hes abusive. I just stood there like omg I have no idea how to help these poor kids. We talked for 15 minutes and I tried to talk to the kids but they were shy and quite. I told her today is a new day and tell her son she loves him. I gave her my number and told her to contact me if she ever needs help with anything or to just talk. I feel so bad, I wanted to just take that little boy and buy him a cake and toys and tell him hes loved and wanted!! for obvious reasons I cant just kidnap him. But I hope she contacts me. 💔
