I was late in the game to the show Weeds. For some reason I didnt bond with it when it was originally aired. However, about a year ago, due to the then recent headlines about medical marijuana, coupled with how much I liked Mary Louise Parker in the movie RED, I decided to give it another shot. At that point, i had just come off of a long stint out on the road, and had a week to recover, catch up on local work, and get ready for my next long road trip. Needless to say, I got hooked, and binge watched multiple seasons in that week. And I finished up the rest of the seasons shortly thereafter. I loved it. Very entertaining. However, I had a huge sense of loss when it was over... until I realized that the (then brand new) series orange is the new black was done by the same person, Jenji Kohan. Great timing. Binge watched the whole thing is about a week. Most excellent! Great show. Why am I posting this? Well, Ive continued my binge watching of TV series. I have run out of exciting things to watch. So i am really looking forward to season 2 of orange is the new black which is coming out this summer. In the meantime, i am sure i will find something else to consume in massive quantities to hold me over! Maybe Ill give Dexter a shot!
