I was looking at the Bring Back Kirk website. Dunno how I feel about it. Not that I wouldnt love him to come out of the Nexus... but then he would surely die... whereas in the Nexus he is always alive. If he came out in a nu-Trek movie... e. hes in the wrong time line and Id be forced to go see a nu-Trek movie. I hate nu-Trek (gee, bet yall didnt know that!). Id have to watch the one I didnt see because I hated the 1st one so much so that I would have a clue who was who and what was going on... Do I want to pay that high a price for a movie hed have a small part in? I would... but I wouldnt be happy about it :) You could not have TOS folks do it because 2 of them are gone... and lets face it, theres an age factor. TNG folks might do it but that wouldnt be as fun.... I dont know how I feel about it except that I dont want nu-Trek to find him. Unless he could come out of the Nexus and undo the whole mess of a new time line and let everything go back to where its supposed to be.... Vulcan intact, nu-Spock acting like a Vulcan instead of a raging adolescent who needs some ADHD medications, nu-Uhura acting like the dignified, respectable, professional woman she is, people being the right ages and/or things happening in the right time frame (cuz no matter how you explode the timeline, Kirk was not at the academy with Checkov... he was already a captain when Checkov graduated), Khan being an Indian and all right with the universe (and maybe a different actor playing nu-Kirk).... now that I might could get behind. OR if they go into the Nexus to find Kirk and come out with Denny Crane... now that might be a fun movie!
