I was mad at one old mzee few years back when he told me that he cant waste any of his living time again going voting for any government in. I spent time making him understand we are the change we want! He barked at me back and swore not to listen to my plea. His arguement was that since many years he has lived and voted nothing changed and he was tired. If anything he could say he would rather forget the leaders but only respect the law. No single leader in Kenya minds his or her voters after he or she gets to the power. All of them are greedy and cunning. Just the other day i remembered the old mzee with nostagia and what ran to my mind about him this time was wise decision. Why am i saying this! I wish someone can know the hope i voted Jubilee govt in with. I could take a bullet to protect the manifesto of the coalition.I loved the two principals and nobody could talk ill of them in my presence. But today , do i gain?? I almost lost control when i heard president say the other day that your security your bussiness! I pinched my nose in disbelief. It was 28 dead now 36. You even wonder- Is that the number of dead people or goat slaughtered for meat in the capital city of unsafe Kenya? I want to sound a fool by saying this...i wouldnt vote ever again. I want my concious to be clean. I will never have my president to blame, it will be my bussiness to live secure, healthy, rich or poor, and infact.. my own bussiness not to vote. Its all about being independent and doing what i do for life to benefit as me and my people. I join the old mzee, he is doing well than all voters waiting for the government to protect them invain Yeah
