I was motivated by the generous actions of my friend Carlton Conwell and so I also committed myself to an act of charity. I hope this post motivates others to do the same. For our animal friends we donated 160 pounds of animal food to Geauga Humane Societys Rescue Village: 32lbs of cat food, 64lbs of puppy chow, and 64lbs of dog food. For the hungry families in Cleveland we donated 75 pounds of human food to Greater Cleveland Food Bank: 30 cans of Campbells Homestyle Select, 20 cans of fruit cocktail, 10 cans of Chef Boyardee, 10 cans of corn, and 5 jars of peanut butter. And for hungry Jews we donated (included in the 75 pounds): 20 kosher cup of soups, 10 kosher boxes of matzoh ball soup mix, and 3 large bottles of Kedem kosher grape juice. We are extremely fortunate to have so much for ourselves and to be able to give. We should all be compelled help out those less fortunate in our communities
