I was nominated by Joshua Graber to list ten books that have stayed with me throughout the years. Fortunately, I have only ever read ten books. Really though, here goes: 1. No Exit by Jean Paul Sartre 2. The Inferno by Dante Alighieri 3. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley 4. M. Butterfly by David Henry Hwang 5. Labyrinths by Jorge Luis Borges 6. The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry 7. Siddhartha by Herman Hesse 8. V. by Thomas Pynchon 9. Songs of Innocence / Songs of Experience by William Blake, though all of the Blake is near and dear to my heart. 10. It gets tough when I talk about Vonnegut, because each of his works are so wonderful. However, I would have to choose Welcome to the Monkey House for this list, as I think his creativity and prowess as a writer are best demonstrated over the format of incredibly varied short stories. Nominees: Jason Mary Gale Stuart Eileen David Emilily Pooks
