I was nominated by my cousins Jason Basso and Jeanette McConnell to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I know some people think this whole thing is stupid. The rules are either pour an ice cold bucket of water on your head OR donate to charity. Im doing both and I know a lot of other people who have done the same. When I talk to people about my Aunt or Grandmas death, a lot of times they dont know anything about this horrible disease. This challenge has made thousands of people aware and has raised a lot of money that would have otherwise never been donated. I never met my Grandma. She died before I was born. I was close with my Aunt and she helped me become the woman I am today. They both were wonderful, incredible people that were taken from us too soon. I nominate Danielle Lupinacci, Wintana Araya, Bryan Hartlett, Lilly Kühl, and Emily Garvey. Thank you to everyone who has donated and/or participated in this challange. You ARE making a difference.
