I was not going to comment when I watched this earlier, although I love this and was inspired. Mostly I just feel FB is not my place to be heard. However, whether this gets read, noticed, whatever -- all ego anyway -- Im just going to type some words. I stopped dying my hair back in 2011, not so long ago. I just want to simply be me and to be seen and heard as me. That includes gray hair and my chipped tooth. I wont go into those who may have been insensitive or may have had some subtle agenda who said, I recognized you when you smiled. I embrace my gray hair. I embrace my imperfect smile, which is actually perfect because its authentic. I embrace aging. I celebrate aging and being an elder and being a crone. I celebrate being vital and still growing and changing and still taking risks and seeking change and new experiences. Yes, age is a state of mind and spirit and heart, and we get to choose. Society and prejudice and others dont get to choose. We get to choose. Remember: WE GET TO CHOOSE! Love to my sisters.
