I was notified late tonight of a very pregnant, brindle colored, medium/large dog that was dumped over the past couple of days at the intersection of Ascauga Lake and Ridge Road in North Augusta (a known dumping ground). The couple that spotted her said that she was very skittish and would not come to them. They left food and water and said there were some places she could use to get out of the wind a little and there was some straw around too. The couple will try to get a picture of her in the morning and maybe they can earn her trust some more. I hope someone can help get this poor baby out of the cold. Please share and lets see what we can do to help her and her soon to be born pups. Hopefully we can get her in a foster home before she has them.
