I was on a bicycle ride last spring and took a spin down the old entrance road in Riverview Park. Little hard to visualize where some things were as the landscape has changed with the levee project, but the old flag pole and base is still there. I was one of the lucky kids that got a free trip from Webster City for one of the Register and Tribune days for paper carriers at the park back in the day! Later after moving to Des Moines, visited the park often and had a great time without breaking the bank. Loved the speedboat rides under the old bridge always hoping the boat captain was a good driver. This clip is actually a little depressing, but some who havent been in the area for a long time might like to see what it looks like now. I miss Riverview!!
