I was pinned down Thursday for a Super Bowl prediction: Seattle 27, Denver 24. But it wont be easy. Russell Wilsons going to have to lead the Seahawks down the field, down 24-20, in the final four minutes. Hell mix the run with the pass to get them to the Denver 12, and then hell use play action to the left, a roll to the right, and hell fire a bullet back across the middle to Zach Miller for the go-ahead touchdown with 1:22 to play. Then, of course, well have to hang on to our butts as Peyton Manning tries to get the Broncos into field-goal range. Just on the other side of midfield, on fourth down with less than 30 seconds left, Mannings lob down the left sideline toward Demaryius Thomas will be broken up when safety Earl Thomas comes screaming into the picture. And all of the Northwest will feel as if theyre at MetLife Stadium, hoisting that beautiful Lombardi trophy for the first time in franchise history.
