I was practiced and prepared for my presentation. Funny anecdotes at the ready. And then I lost my Internet connection. I basically had to act-out a web-app on stage. But the shuck-and-jive Gods were not with me today so the dumb fool kicked-in. And to make matters worse, not only was I looking at a room full of frowning people, I was looking into a mirror just two feet from my face, which displayed a visage that was sweating profusely and stamped with a permanent heath-ledger-as-the-joker smile. In the periphery was my poor wife, silently looking on like Edvard Munchs The Scream. Epic fail. So, how was your day?
