I was reading an article the other day and one line really struck a chord with me: The way we do anything is the way we do everything. One of those lines, which felt like a smack in the face with the blindingly obvious! Prior to reading this, I had thought I approached different tasks in different ways, usually based upon level of interest and / or urgency. How wrong was I? When I started to examine how I motivated myself to do anything, my strategy was largely the same, to a greater or lesser degree dependant upon what I was doing! I was indeed approaching everything in a very similar way. Freaked? Much? Obviously! But, now Im fully aware of what Im doing and making changes. Check it out, see if the same is true for you.
