I was really dreading coming back to Facebook tonight knowing I was going to read all these beautiful posts and see all these great pictures of our darling Scot and it was going to make me cry, again. It is almost unfathomable to know our darling George is gone and we will never again see him light up a stage with CT or thrill us in a pub. Many of us ask Why would this man be taken so soon? This man who had finally achieved all he ever desired, had loved and been loved by a large and supportive family, and had given of himself so freely to adoring fans all over the world. We wont know the answer to that in this life. We just have to cope with the unbearable sadness of his passing. He gave us such joy that wed save our money and then wait for months just to see him sing to us on a stage, large or small, and then be happy just to have had that privilege. I dont think we will see his like again and will miss him the rest of our lives.
