This is Butch. Hes a very friendly stray who appears around the back of ours at night every 3-4 weeks. Not the most handsome cat but he makes up for that in other ways. We have two other cats but felt a bit sorry for him as he seemed to have a bad eye infection plus something wrong with his jaw. Not to mention being very dirty for a cat. This time when he appeared we went into action and pursuaded him (via some milk and nibbles) to stay the night in our shed. The next day he was off to the vet where we had him fixed (sorry Butch) and had him checked over. His jaw had been broken at some stage according to vet but he was in fairly good health and with some meds for his eyes it was back to ours for some R&R for a couple of days. Yesterday we washed him... Not a happy experience for most cats especially for a semi wild one but Butch was as well behaved as a cat could be in such circumstances. He kept his claws retracted and eventually even seemed to be ok with it. He much enjoyed being toweled off. Well these shots are after his bath and as you can see the dirt was pretty engrained. Will take a second bath or two we think. Hes now headed off to do what he does but we are sure hell be around for some food and attention soon. One of our cats is quiet friendly with him the other wishes he would foad...
