I was really excited to spend some time in Marks and Spencers today at Newport Mall, because since moving here to Caldicot, Ive been suffering from M and S withdrawal symptoms. I really do think though that i should make a complaint about the mirrors in their changing rooms. now that Ive got my new specs, I can see very clearly and i know for a fact that their mirrors are very distorted. Everyone knows that I have always been a mere slip of a young thing and today, I could hardly recognize myself. I looked at least two stone heavier than I am in real life and at least 20 years older. I was so shocked that I resolved to go on a strict diet and maybe even join weight watchers. And then I realized that they are probably doing this on purpose because they have shares in weight watchers, as its a known fact that they are losing trade these days. I even had to go into the cafeteria and force myself to coffee and a cream cake to recover And while Im on the subject; their dress sizes are at least two sizes smaller than they used to be. I really do think that Marks and Spencers should get a grip and realize that it is women like me who are keeping them going! They might have made quite a few sales today if they had got their act together.
