I was recently asked if there were any prophecies about Israel coming back into their land in 1948. Well, yes. Here is the breakdown and what is to come. Prophecies Fulfilled in 1948 - Jacob’s descendants would regain control of Israel (Amos 9:14-15), Israel would be brought back to life (Ezekiel 37:10-14), Isaiah spoke of a Israel being reborn in one day (Isaiah 66:7-8), Israel would be re-established as a united nation (Ezekiel 37:21-22), The second Israel would be more impressive than the first (Jeremiah 16:14-15), Ezekiel predicted when Israel would be re-established (Ezekiel 4:3-6), The people of Israel would return to “their own land” (Ezekiel 34:13), God would watch over the people of Israel (Jeremiah 31:10), Israel’s army would be disproportionately powerful (Leviticus 26:3, 7-8), The fortunes of the people of Israel would be restored (Deuteronomy 30:3-5). Messiah said, Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass (the generation which witnesses the above prophecies fulfilled), till ALL these things be fulfilled - the feast days. (Matthew 24:34). One generation according to Scripture is 70-80 years (Psalm 90:10) Presently it has been 66 years since Israel came back into their land in 1948. The fulfillment of the feast days have been: Passover - Messiahs death Unleavened Bread - Messiahs burial First Fruits - Messiahs resurrection Pentecost - The giving of the Holy Spirit Next unfulfilled in order are: Trumpets - Messiahs return for His bride (The Rapture) Atonement - Messiahs second coming to earth Tabernacles - Messiahs 1000 year Kingdom established According to Messiahs words, this is the generation which will experience the latter three fulfilled.
