I was sent to watch this video, first off it was a great match. Ive always liked the work of Yoshi Tatsu, his work with Tyson Kidd was amazing in NXT. Secondly, yes Yoshi suffers a broken neck at the go home due to the Styles Clash, this move has hurt lots of people, this is true. Frankie Kazarian, and Corey Graves are two to mention. However, at the same time its hurt less than those it hasnt. Thus we need to question if its the person giving it or taking it. When I was training with Bad News Allan I took this move, and it was instinctive for me to tuck my chin, however, I then realized it was a front bump I was to take. We dont tuck our chin when taking a drop toe hold, so I knew not to tuck. For some reason some workers feel the need to tuck their chin, this is a old rule. If youre working someone with a go home youve never taken, hit the ring and practice it, learn to understand the move so when its time you know how to react. Communication is also key in the wresrling business, it can help avoid serious injuries such as this. I hope Yoshi recovers well, and that hes back in the ring ASAP. I hate seeing injuries such as this, as the industry is so physical as it is, seeing a worker get injured is always hard to watch. Get well Yoshi!
