I was shopping for groceries with my wife the other day. I could not help but notice the mags at checkout. One that caught my eye was that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are getting divorced...OH No!!. Well my response was....are they married? I thought she is way too old for him. So, I looked it up. They were both born in the great year of 1967....the year that many of us other great ones graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School. Hmmmm....I looked further....and do you know that Keiths fellow host on American Idol (Harry Connick jr) ....YES..he too was born in 1967. Who would have thunk? I know the classes of 1964-1966 and 1968-1970 look down on us 1967 graduates for some reason....but thats ok. Maybe Wally Rhein and Jimmy Little, and myself can put something together in the next year or so for a graduating class that really counts. I dont know how Wally hoodwinked Jimmy and myself in to putting together our (20th??? 25th???? or was it 30th...I give up) but he did. It must have been a good one, because I dont remember it.....and my wife was really mad at me afterwards....dont know why to this day.
