I was sitting at the red light next to Rameys in Princeton - TopicsExpress

I was sitting at the red light next to Rameys in Princeton yesterday when my phone rang. It said Princeton hospital, and I had been waiting for a call from the dr. I answer and it was mom! She was somewhat confused, but she knew my cell # , she had slept for 30 hrs, and that dinner was coming in15 mins. I spoke with the dr when I got there and she was ordering a CAT scan with contrast, which. Ok had shortly after she ate. We should have the results today. We know mom has brain atrophy from the MS but dont know how it has progressed or if there are new lesions on her frontal lobe. We dont know if there are meds that can help slow any progression or help with her mental status or if this is something she/we will just have to continue to go through. Its hard not knowing when these episodes are going to happen, when they are caused from a UTI and sepsis, or when its cognitive. My prayer is that we find answers, that there is a treatment, that she has more good days than bad, that she can go places on the good days, and she can be as happy as possible for as long as possible.
