I was so flatlined by my Thanksgiving dinner, that I almost forgot - TopicsExpress

I was so flatlined by my Thanksgiving dinner, that I almost forgot to tell you about the amazing show we did at the Adelphia on Capitol St. on Wednesday. Im telling you friends, if you havent been to the Adelphia, you truly are missing a great experience. The food, the music, the vibe, it just all comes together in one incredible package. The Carpenter Ants simply rocked the joint to the foundation. Our buddies, Bill Hunter, David Prince and Dave Dunkley came through, and added their smoke to the fire. Its always such fun for me as a vocalist to have all of these textures from other musicians, you get to paint some beautiful pictures musically; and you all know thats what Im all about. My only regret is that Im unable to add my saxophone to this mix these days, and I really miss it. Oh well maybe one day itll come back to me God willing. It was so cool watching people eating and trying to figure out how to dance at the same time, really, what a rush. Dino (Stanley), and the entire staff at the Adelphia really have figured out the right way to combine all of these elements, and have come up with a winning marriage of food and music. The only thing left to tell you is that I hope your Thanksgiving was great, and you enjoyed yourselves wherever you were. Ill keep you posted on the next Ants sighting, so you can hopefully make the scene. Until then, take care my friends, stay warm, and as always, support live music today tomorrow and always.
