I was so glad that I got to perform a magic show on Halloween, since October 31 is National Magic Day. I did a show at the Brandon Public Library, a small little library about 30 miles from Fond du Lac. The library is on the first floor of an old building which houses the Historical Society upstairs (creepy!). The show went great! I incorporated the things I have been working on that I learned about at the Master Class I took. I love the look I get on my lovely assistants face when I tell them we are going to perform the famous Sawing a Woman in Half trick! The Linking Rings routine is perhaps my favorite part of the show. The trick has a lot of impact and I know it well enough now that I can watch the expressions on peoples faces as I link and unlink the rings. And of course, my Zombie made an appearance at the end of the show. The kids were great, every trick worked well, and the library director was very pleased with the show. And I got paid, too! What more could you ask for?
