I was standing at the stove just now, crumbling ground beef into Soyers dinner stew. Usually Im adding already-cooked meat, and I give him bites. This time, he was offering behaviors which usually result in treats, and I was ignoring him (because the meat was raw). But when he offered sit pretty, all on his own, I couldnt stand it, and gave him a bite. He was surprised at the strange new taste, but Im glad I kept the faith with him.
