I was tagged by Rita Catriona Conkling to share ten books that have stayed with me. It doesnt have to be great works of literature or favorites, just ones that have affected me. (It is going to have a pretty big overlap with favorites though, because if I dont like a book I wont read enough of it for it to stay with me.) Enders Game/Enders Shadow/Shadow Puppets by Orson Scott Card (counting them as one since theyre all in the same series) A Game of Thrones/A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin (I like all of them but these two stick in my head the most) Harry Potter (duh) On the Road by Jack Kerouac (but not for the reasons it wants to) Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare Twilight (If only for proving to me that I am good enough to get published) The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare (for the same reason although I do actually somewhat like it) The Royal Diaries Series (fictional diaries from historical princesses and queens) The Dear America Series (same conceit except regular girls in periods of American history) Kushiels Legacy/Scion Series(es?) by Jacqueline Carey I hope youre happy because I definitely teared up just thinking about some of these.
