HEY ACTORS, DANCERS, MUSICIANS, & CLOWN, BOUFFON, CABARET, BURLESQUE PERFORMERS!!! WHAT?? AUDITIONS for ARTELs Kharmful Charms of Daniil Kharms returns to Los Angeles for the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Created and presented in early 2010, the show garnered a special moustachioed reputation. Over the years, we have received many requests to revive it, and we are excited to oblige. Kharmful Charms of Daniil Kharms is a devised project based on the works of Russian absurdist Daniil Kharms (1905-1942) and it is constructed as an evening of not-so-innocent commotions and antics, vignettes and dreamlike incidents. We will have 7 performances during Fringe. This project is also intended to be developed into a touring version, providing an opportunity for collaborators to become part of its touring family. PAY: There is pay based on AEA Contract Rates for a 99-seat plan, plus gross-points. Non-union. REHEARSAL TIMES/DATES: April 14-June 6. Afternoons and Evenings (schedule TBD, based on casts availability). We ask everyone in the cast to be solidly available for the duration of the rehearsal period and have no other creative conflicts (ready performances can be OK, depending on dates, but no rehearsals).
