I was tagged by my fabulous friend Vicki Locey to go to page 7 of my current work in progress and post 7 lines. this is very rough draft as I have just started writing it from my notes but here goes. Its A MM Alien story and meant to be more romantic comedy than sci fi.. I hear his soft even breaths through the thin curtains and wonder how he has survived here alone all this time. I gently push aside the curtain and look in on him. He looks so calm and peaceful. Such a beautiful man. So sweet, yet so innocent. I decide to take a look around while he sleeps. The surroundings are very clean, sparse but efficient. There are several chairs in a sturdy steel and contoured plastic, that match the built in table/bar/ counter that separates the small efficiency kitchenette for the main living area. This area has a long built in sofa along one wall near a window that looks out. There are built in shelving units and lots of computer like devices among which are the radio / tape recorder Benny seems to use constantly and lots of 8 track tapes mostly rock form the 70’s.
