I was talking about a movie I watched over the weekend with a colleague, and I told her I really liked the bad guy because he looked like Kevin Spacey (who is one of my all time favorite actors). Then I remembered a true story about me and Kevin Spacey. We shared an elevator once. This was when he was in Chicago filming The Negotiator. The building for the movie was where I worked at a law firm second shift (while I went to art school during the day). I didnt know it was him at the time, but my friend did. And she kept elbowing me HARD in the ribs. And I kept saying, What? What is your problem? During that same time period, I had a run in with Mel Gibson. I was rushing to my second shift job loaded down with heavy backpack and portfolio (from school) almost near my building where I worked when my portfolio connected with a mans privates. Oh Im so sorry! I gasped. Are you okay?? and this guy looked at me, and smiled and said, Im alright. Then dashed across the street where there a film set. Unmistakable blue eyes and that smile. Sorry Mel. Funny how memories come flooding back. Good ones this time!
