I was talking to the man at the store at the end of the road about driving trucks and he said he respected and thanks and this girl behind me blurts out who cares yyour just a truck driver yall arent important. I wasnt sure how to respond so i said you like that drink huh? How do you think it got here? Or the gas going in your car. Or the materials to build this store. Yeah i may not be important all i haul is dumpsters. But somebody has to drive the trash? What about that guy driving the oxygen tanker to the hospital every week? Or the one bringing medicine? The ones up north risking their life just to get regular goods to villages. I dont think we are heros no. But i feel like people look to hard for heros that do over the top acts. What about the man that works everday to feed his family. Thats a hero to me. I think the everyday working man deserves a shoutout. It takes all of us together to make it work. Stop looking so hard for amazing and open your eyes to the outstanding its all around you everyday. In a pair of boots. Keeping this country grinding forward. Amen?
